Aliante Station resort reported a first-quarter profit on Tuesday, which the property in North Las Vegas attributed to the success of its current marketing programs. Station Casinos net revenues jump 8.4 percent18 May 2012
Bolstered by improving economic conditions and consumer spending in Southern Nevada, Station Casinos on Tuesday reported its best operating quarter in more than three years as the company earned $6.8 million on revenues of $318.2 million.

Nevada gaming revenues down nearly 11 percent in March11 May 2012
Nevada gambling revenues totaled $854.5 million in March, a 10.8 percent decline compared with the same month last year. The double-digit decline in revenue was preceded by two months of modest gains.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has reported a smaller first-quarter loss, but nongaming revenue at the luxury Strip resort continues to outpace gaming revenue.
