Just about every Las Vegas resort has some kind of theme nowadays -- some little thing that sets each resort apart from all the others. From the Roman centurions at Caesars Palace to the pirates at Treasure Island, and casino mascots like the MGM lion and the white tigers at the Mirage. That brings up an interesting legal question. What if you were attacked by one of these casino mascots?

My attorney suggests the following, in order of importance:

  1. Get the names and addresses of all eyewitnesses
  2. Call your lawyer
  3. Call the casino's lawyer
  4. Contact the Nevada Attorney General's office
  5. Notify the news media
  6. Pack the severed limb in ice
  7. Go to the hospital
