A dealer in a Las Vegas casino approached the pit boss and asked for two weeks off. Since a holiday weekend was approaching, the pit boss turned down his request. The following day the dealer called in sick. His punishment? The pit boss suspended him for two weeks. * * * Two baccarat dealers were fired for stealing from a Vegas casino. Were the two guilty? We will never know, but it didn't deter the two from making a living. They opened a Mexican restaurant called "Bandito's." * * * A woman was watching her boyfriend play roulette in a Vegas casino. He handed her a $5 chip and told her to bet it on one of the numbers. "Which number should I pick?" she asked nervously. "Bet it on your age," he said nonchalantly. She placed the chip on number 25. The roulette ball landed on number 33 -- and the woman fainted! * * * A Vegas bartender placed a large stack of napkins on the counter just as one of the hotel vice-presidents walked by. "Do you know how much those napkins cost?" the vice-president said angrily. "Get rid of them right now." He watched the vice-president walk away.
