10. 2005 WSOP – Oliver Hudson vs. Sam Farha Imagine hitting 10s full of Aces on the flop in the first hand of the Main Event. Then imagine going all in and drawing dead to Sam Farha's Aces full. Ouch. That's the quickest $10,000 we've ever seen spent. See you next year!
9. Jamie Gold wins the 2006 WSOP Main Event Jamie Gold had spent the entire tournament throwing players off with his table chatter. And he did it again on the final hand when he talked Paul Wasicka into a call that ended the tournament.
8. Stu Ungar wins the 1981 Main Event
Whether, it was poker, gin rummy or blackjack, Stu Ungar was arguably the best that ever played. His photographic memory and sheer genius made it almost impossible to beat him. In this clip, legendary announcer Curt Gowdy calls the action as Ungar beats Perry Green to win back-to-back Main Event championships. Ungar won his third Main Event in 1987.
7. Jennifer Harman vs Corey Zeidman at the WSOP 2005 Main Event
As far as drama goes, it's hard to beat this hand. Corey Zeidman flops a straight and Jennifer Harman flops a set. And that's just the beginning.
6. "You know my heart is pure."
Sam Grizzle had the needle out in the 2003 WSOP Main Event and managed to get under Phil Hellmuth's skin several times.
After taking a big pot in which Hellmuth could not believed he could be called (Grizzle called Hellmuth's A-Q with K-J),
Grizzle talked about taking all of Hellmuth's chips away. Then he won another hand and that left Hellmuth muttering.
Hellmuth took a walk, came back and told Grizzle that he was just "grumpy," but "you know my heart is pure." This clip also
features Hellmuth meditating and telling himslef to not "be negative today."
5. Matusow eliminated from 2004 WSOP This tournament made us hate Mike the Mouth. He's been slowly winning us back ever since – hey, tackling Mr. Peanut at the 2007 WSOP is the best poker comedy we've ever seen – and we kind of feel bad for him after watching this again. 4. Johnny Chan vs. Eric Seidel 1988 WSOP Finale
This clip import for two reason. It clinches back-to-back Main Event championships for Johnny Chan AND it serves as the premise for the movie Rounders. How about that.
3. 2005 WSOP – Phil Hellmuth blowup One of Hellmuth's more famous outbursts. Gems here include "This guy can't even spell poker," and "The guy's trying to catch a flight."
