Vernon owns Bodog

Bodog made Veron S. of Maryland a rich man this week. First he grabbed a $31,670 prize on the Realms of Riches machine then hit the machine again two days later for another $31,417 payday! He topped it off with a $7,660 hit on the Crystal Waters offering. Now that's a "reel" good week.

But maybe there were just some hot machines at Bodog.

The popular Caesar's Empire game crowned three big winners, paying Marc B. $21,363, William W. $10,813 and Elaine C. $7,559. Not quite a Verson S. showing, but nice chunks of change nonetheless.

Eileen K. enjoys her Bonanza

Jackpotjoy's newest Diamond Bonanza winner is Greenford, U.K. native Eileen K. She recently took down the sites big jackpot to the tune of 70,000 pounds.

"I couldn't believe it when I won," she said after winning. "I thought, things like that don't happen to me! I told my husband and he asked how much it was. When I replied, he had to check that I was sure."

After she confirmed the cash she celebrated the right way.

"I went to the Pub to celebrate and my husband and he told everyone," she said. "It's incredible. It's a life changing amount of money.

Lisa's new travel plans

Jackpotjoy changed another life, awarding Lisa R. $32,222 pounds for her recent Bingo Gold win. The catering assistant is now able to afford a nice vacation for her and the kids.

"I'm planning on taking my children abroad," she said. "We're looking into visiting Majorca just before they go back to school.

Ryan McLane

Ryan McLane was a poker reporter for Casino City. Although he has a strong background in reporting, the same can't be said for his poker skills. He has never won a major tournament nor is he a professional player. He applied for this job thinking it was a joke, only to find it out that it's true, people will pay you to write about poker. His favorite word is ridiculous.

After receiving his BA in History from Stonehill College in Easton, MA, he somehow ended up freelance reporting for a couple years before being deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom III with the Massachusetts National Guard. He's back now and is a strong advocate of the phrase "God Bless America."

Currently, Ryan lives in Boston and occasionally makes international treks to cover tournament poker and news. Feature writing is his passion and there is no need to ask for his opinion, he'll probably offer it first - free of charge.
