There's a new face on the Mississippi casino map with a name that spans the decades and on Dec. 8 it will be officially introduced when HARLOW'S CASINO holds is grand opening down in the heart of the Delta at Greenville. Every gambler wants to beat the house but the FAT MAN may have found a way to do it without going to jail for not making good on his marker. The summer heat must be getting to players and during my recent forays in casinos I have witnessed several episodes of players gone wild. And dealers are the targeted recipients, much to my chagrin.

HARRAH'S CAEASAR'S PALACE in Las Vegas the corporation's earnings took a big jump? I hit the slots pretty hard there, giving not receiving, but not enough to send Harrah's second-quarter profit on an 85% surge. The company, which is going private via a ... (read more)
Heard it on the River30 July 2007
HORSESHOE CASINO is putting on a high hat and raising the local stakes with attention getting events, such as the "legendary" $250,000 blackjack tournament August 31-Sept. 3 and a Bentley Continental GT give away on Oct. 13. Got my attention.
Especially the $100,000 first place money in the BJ tournament, not to mention $50,000 for second place and on down the line to 7th place. ... (read more)

It is somewhat amazing to learn that of the 61 boxing matches in a row that PRIZE FIGHT BOXING has staged in Tunica's casinos, all have been sell-outs according to the Southaven promoter.
