Genting to build $2 billion resort casino on Las Vegas Strip

The Malaysia-based company bought the Echelon site on the Strip from Boyd Gaming for $350 million and plans on building a 3,500-room hotel-casino on the site. The new Resorts World Las Vegas is expected to open in 2016 with multiple dining options, 250,000 square feet of retail, more than 500,000 square feet of convention space, a theater and outdoor pool amenities.  read more
