Yggdrasil Gaming goes live in the UK4 April 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- Yggdrasil Gaming is live in the U.K. after completing a full roll out of its product suite, just three months after it was awarded a licence. The UK Gambling Commission only awarded Yggdrasil a licence in December, but the swift roll out means its proprietary iSENSE 2.0 platform and full suite of games are now available to British players for the first time. The Swedish supplier has already signed agreements with six operators in Britain – LeoVegas, Mr Green, Unibet - United Kingdom, Vera & John Casino UK, ComeOn! and Betsson Casino & Live Casino – with more set to follow. "We're thrilled to be live in the U.K., which is now an extremely important market for Yggdrasil," said Yggdrasil Gaming CEO Fredrik Elmqvist. "We've had a very encouraging start given that we only received our licence at the end of last year, and are already live with some operators. "The U.K. marketplace is the most competitive in Europe, but we have a track record of succeeding in every market we enter, and I am confident our industry-leading platform and games will allow us to repeat the trick there." Yggdrasil's portfolio contains a wide range of popular casino games, including Jokerizer, Vikings Go Wild, Joker Millions Progressive and Nirvana. The slots are backed up by Yggdrasil's industry-leading collection of promotional tools, BOOST, which is designed to increase engagement and retention. Yggdrasil won iGaming Software Supplier of the Year at the 2016 International Gaming Awards and Software Rising Star at the 2015 EGR B2B Awards.
