Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe temporarily suspends operations at two Arizona casinos

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Board of Directors of the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe and management from the Tribe's gaming enterprise, the Yavapai Gaming Agency, have made the decision to temporarily suspend the Tribe's gaming operations at the Tribe's two casinos, Bucky's Casino and Yavapai Casino located on Highway 69.

The Tribe's gaming operations will close beginning at midnight on Thursday, 19 March and will remain closed until 8 a.m. Friday, 3 April 2020.

As a responsible community partner, the Tribe is taking this precautionary measure to assist public health efforts to slow the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. As a community member, it is the Tribe's responsibility to do its part to protect the community, including but not limited to, our dedicated employees, loyal guests and patrons and collective action is needed to slow this virus. The Tribe and the Yavapai Gaming Agency will continue to closely monitor the situation and will keep you updated on our plans moving forward, should they change. We want to thank our guests and patrons for their patience, support and understanding. Bucky's Casino and Yavapai Casino in Prescott, Arizona, AZ, are owned and operated by the Yavapai Gaming Agency, an enterprise of the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe.
