Wynonna & the Big Noise head to Cherokee Casino

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Wynonna Judd began her career as one-half of the mother/daughter duo the Judds and quickly became one of the most respected female country stars of all time. On 11 July, the famous redhead brings her long line of chart-toppers to the Qualla Ballroom stage.

The Qualla Ballroom is located inside Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs. The intimate performance begins at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $25 and available at the hotel front desk and online.

As part of the Judds, Wynonna helped accumulate five Grammy awards, nine Country Music Association Awards and eight American of Country Music Awards. The duo charted an impressive 14 No. 1 singles and three No. 1 albums, including their debut, multiplatinum-selling album, “Why Not Me.” Fan favorites include “Mama He’s Crazy,” “Girls’ Night Out,” “Grandpa, (Tell Me ‘Bout the Good Old Days)” and “Rockin’ with the Rhythm of the Rain.”

Her solo career began in 1991, once again topping the charts with her No. 1 debut solo album and five-time platinum record, “Wynonna.” The album featured three No. 1 hits: “She Is His Only Need,” “I Saw the Light” and “No One Else on Earth.” Wynonna went on to distribute six more albums, all achieving at least a Top 5 spot on the Billboard charts, including one gold and two platinum albums. The singer-songwriter has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.

Wynonna and her band, the Big Noise, released their self-titled debut album in 2016 to critical acclaim and a coveted No. 5 spot on the Billboard Country Charts. The new sound is a rootsy work encompassing country, Americana, blues, soul and rock, celebrating everything her fans have come to know and love.
