Wynn Las Vegas adds several comedians to the lineup

1 April 2019

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Wynn Las Vegas in association with AEG Presents Las Vegas marks their new venture into comedy with a lineup of top comedians headlining the Encore Theater this Spring-Summer 2019. The roster of talent includes renowned performers Chris Tucker, Seth Meyers, Jim Gaffigan, Sebastian Maniscalco, Jo Koy and Ali Wong, who will appear starting 6 April through Labor Day Weekend, with additional acts to be announced. Wynn Las Vegas kicked-off 2019 with two sold out performances by Chris Tucker, marking the first-ever stand-up comedy shows hosted by the resort. Tucker will return to the Encore Theater on Saturday, 6 April.

“We are thrilled to welcome this incredibly talented lineup of comedic performers to the stage at Encore Theater,” says Rick Gray, General Manager of Entertainment Operations, Wynn Las Vegas. “We continue to see great success with our headlining music acts, and we now look forward to offering our guests a new experience as we kick off our comedy engagements this spring with this renowned roster of comedians.”

The Encore Theater will continue to offer performances by music’s top and legendary acts like Diana Ross, Robbie Williams, John Fogerty, Sarah McLachlan and Lionel Richie.

“We’re proud to offer a diverse, eclectic and highly selective roster of comedians to the Encore Theater,” says AEG Presents Las Vegas Talent Buyer Chris Hammond. “Similar to our featured musicians, these comedians typically play much larger venues so we’re excited to offer our guests the opportunity to experience these acts in a much more intimate and personable environment.”

The Wynn Las Vegas Spring-Summer 2019 comedy lineup is as follows:

Chris Tucker: Saturday, 6 April (one night only – two performances)
