WSOP Europe gears up to begin in Rozvadov, Czech Republic21 September 2017(PRESS RELEASE) -- The first ever WSOP Europe in the Czech Republic kicks off four weeks today at King's Casino in Rozvadov with 11 official WSOP gold bracelet events and €18 million in prize pool guarantees. The biggest and richest poker festival in Europe this year is set to kick off on Thursday, 19 October with the €1,100 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold'em event. The series runs nonstop through 10 November. The entire gold bracelet schedule and structures can be viewed online. In a week, the WSOP Circuit stops in Rozvadov, with 14 official gold ring events and more than €3 million in guarantees. So from 28 September through 10 November, nonstop WSOP action comes to central Europe. The WSOP Circuit schedule for King's Casino can be found online. A lot of great content is planned from WSOP Europe as well. PokerNews has signed on to be the official live reporting outlet for the event. So fans can follow all the bracelet event action via PokerNews and/or WSOP throughout the duration of the 22-day festival. Robust live streaming is planned as well, with 14 total days of coverage. Both King's and WSOP will offer free live streaming coverage of the majority of the bracelet events. Coverage begins when the official final tables are reached or that day's play gets underway, all on a 30-minute delay with hole cards. To aid on the social media front, the one and only Kevin Mathers, aka @KevMath, will be on-site in Rozvadov for the duration to handle the Twitter feeds of both @WSOP and @PokerRoomKings. "We are really set up to have the biggest WSOP Europe ever," said WSOP director Gregory Chochon. "With €18 million in guarantees, we expect to see the largest fields and prize pools for our European offshoot." A reminder for international travelers to have a passport on hand when entering the casino and to make sure they have proper banking and residence identification for when they receive winnings. King's Casino Rozvadov is located in the Czech Republic, right near the German border, between Prague and Munich. The location is right in Central Europe, giving all Europeans an easy travel destination to play poker.
