Wrangler National Finals Rodeo kicks off

(PRESS RELEASE) -- South Point Hotel Casino and Spa and the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) kicked off the 2018 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR) with hundreds of the industry’s top competitors as they walked the gold carpet in dazzling style. Bull riders, team ropers, barrel racers, and tie-down ropers strutted the gold carpet with their loved ones, before heading to the annual PRCA welcome reception where athletes, rodeo committees and fans gathered to honor the rodeos finest and prepare for the 10 days that lie ahead.

Notable attendees included:

  • Travis Graves with wife, Tamika, and children, Tee and True Vista.
  • WNFR Bull Rider Sage Kimzey and girlfriend Alexis Bloomer.
  • Tuf Cooper and wife, Tiffany Kay McGhan.
  • Trevor Brazile with wife Shada Brazile, and children Treston, Style and Swayzi.
  • Tyson Durfey, WNFR tie down roper, with wife, Shea Fisher, Australian-born country singer, and daughter, Praise Royal Durfey.
