Work Continues on South Coast Hotel

LAS VEGAS -- A worker smoothed a freshly poured concrete floor during construction of the South Coast hotel and casino on Las Vegas Boulevard South and Silverado Ranch Boulevard on Monday.

South Coast, with an estimated cost of $500 million, will be the fifth locals casino for Coast Casinos Inc.

Coast merged with Boyd Gaming Corp. in July.
