Woman Robs Video Poker Parlor

LOUISIANA – As reported by New Orleans Times-Picayune: "A woman who stuck a gun in an employee's back robbed a 24-hour video poker casino in Belle Chasse early Monday morning, and Plaquemines Parish authorities said a phony bomb threat called in to a nearby chemical plant 20 minutes earlier may have been a diversion for the robbery.

"No one was injured in the 4:30 a.m. heist at Lucky's Casino on Engineer's Road at Louisiana 23 near the Jefferson Parish line, authorities said.

"…The robber, described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds, pulled a gun and placed it against an employee's back, authorities said. She fled on foot after the robbery…"
