Wisconsin Pro-Casino Supporters Rally

WISCONSIN – As reported by the Wisconsin Capital Times: "Pro-casino supporters rallied Thursday, confident voters will say yes Tuesday and allow the Ho-Chunk Nation to make the DeJope bingo hall a full-blown casino.

"About 80 union members, human services workers and Ho-Chunk leaders gathered at the bingo hall on Madison's southeast side in one last show of support for the referendum.

"…Spokesman Tom Springer ripped Mayor Dave Cieslewicz at the rally, saying the mayor's anti-casino stance goes against a promise made by the mayor during negotiations that he wouldn't speak out against the casino…"
