Wisconsin Gov. says no to casino23 January 2015WISCONSIN -- A proposed Kenosha casino has been vetoed by Gov. Scott Walker, Reuters reported. Walker attributed his decision to the protection of taxpayers, the report said. The proposed casino would have required the compensation of the Potawatomi tribe's casino in Milwaukee if revenue was lost, Reuters reported. Walker deemed the risk of impact to taxpayers too high, the report made note. |
