William Hill Revises Customer Profiling System

UNITED KINGDOM – As reported by the CRM News: "Gambling giant William Hill is creating new customer profiles through its online portal to better understand its audience and drive loyalty.

"…RedEye, the e-CRM agency, has been awarded the brief, after claiming that IP-based server logs can inflate visitor numbers by up to 660 per cent over a 28-day period. RedEye also claims its research proves that cookies, which can be deleted by computer users, can lead to a 128 per cent over-statement of visitors numbers…"
