William Hill downgraded after staffing challenges

24 October 2011

TEL AVIV, Israel -- A staff walk out and purported computer sabotage has led William Hill to take the extraordinary step of hiring ex-Israeli intelligence officers to "restore order", The Daily Telegraph reported.

The staff "revolt" which saw the walk out of almost 180 staff in Tel Aviv and another 100 in Bulgaria affects William Hill online, the report said.

The revolt began with the resignation of the Chief Marketing Officer last week, which Casino City reported on, and there are also reports that William Hill has been degraded by analysts.

William Hill online is part-owned by Playtech, The Telegraph report noted.
