Wheeling Official Says Gaming Causes Few Problems20 February 2006WHEELING, West Virginia -- As reported by the Herald Standard: "While concerns have been expressed about what legal troubles gambling could bring to Fayette County, an official who has dealt with the impact of gaming in Wheeling said the addition of slots has not caused any problems in West Virginia. "With the occasional issue of traffic snarls that occur mainly on the weekends, Wheeling City Manager Robert Herron said expanded gaming at the Wheeling Island casino has been a boon.
