Wheel of Fortune slot hits at Caesars Palace Las Vegas3 February 2014LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- International Game Technology (IGT) and Caesars Entertainment have been on the mission to create millionaires. On Jan. 28, 2014 the entertainment giants awarded $4,526,288.12 on the Wheel of Fortune Triple Wild Spins Duo Wheel slot machine at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. As the reels hit, triggering the jackpot, the winner initially saw the pay voucher appear and believed that it was showing a serial number. The winner then realized that the voucher was actually a pay by hand voucher, and a big one at that, equaling to just over 4.5 million. Upon the winner's return home, a bit of goodwill was shared, as the winner immediately made two donations to Operation Smile, which will pay for two operations for children to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities. The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, joins the more than 34 millionaires that have been awarded a total of more than $96 million in life-changing jackpots since January of last year. IGT's MegaJackpots were launched in 1986 and have since created more than 1,500 millionaires with nearly 6 billion dollars in jackpots awarded. Caesars Entertainment also enjoys an outstanding reputation for awarding jackpots with the company's Millionaire Maker powered by Total Rewards program. To date, the company has made nearly 750 millionaires. |
