Western Australia: Cruise ships can now gamble

WESTERN AUSTRALIA -- Casino cruise ships are approved to operate in Western Australia, The West Australian reported.

The approval comes after an agreement with the State Government and Burswood Casino, the report said.

Gambling must take place 12 miles off the coast, but now casino cruise ships will no longer have to "close" when they enter Western Australian waters, The West Australian report explained.
