Washington State Agencies Contribute Problem Gaming Education

OLYMPIA, Washington – As reported by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer: "Three state gaming agencies will contribute more than $200,000 to educate Washington residents about problem gambling.

"The Washington State Gambling Commission, the Washington State Lottery and the Washington Horse Racing Commission will contribute to the effort, which was announced yesterday. The state's Department of Social and Health Services will administer it. The money will fund an expansion of the problem gambling help line, distribution of educational materials and promotion of National Problem Gambling Awareness Week, among other programs…"
