Washington Bingo Halls, Casinos Threatened by Smoking Ban

TERRACE HEIGHTS, Washington – As reported by the (Yakima, Washington) KIMA29: "A proposed statewide no-smoking initiative could be another nail in the coffin for local casinos and bingo halls.

"...It's still early to tell, but those who run bingo halls are concerned gamblers who smoke may decide to travel to the tribal casino in Toppenish to enjoy both their favorite past times, since a ban like that would not affect Legends.

"…Such a ban could be bad for businesss for Saint Joseph's schools in Yakima, which depend on the bingo hall for money…"
