Warhol a Good Bet at Casino Gallery10 December 2002Las Vegas -- As reported by the Associated Press: ``A collection of more than 50 Andy Warhol celebrity paintings and works on paper will debut at the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art in February. ``Warhol's work will be on view Feb. 7-Sept. 7 at the casino gallery. Liza Minnelli, who was a friend of the artist, will narrate an audio tour, the gallery said Thursday.Among the exhibit's works will be portraits of celebrities from three decades: the 1960s with Jacqueline Kennedy and Elizabeth Taylor; the 1970s with Mick Jagger, Dennis Hopper and Mao Tse-tung; and the 1980s with Deborah Harry, Sylvester Stallone and Michael Jackson...” |
