Wahlburgers set to open at Foxwoods Resort Casino3 August 2022(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino – the largest premier resort casino in the Northeast – today announced Wahlburgers, the casual restaurant & bar chain founded by brothers Mark, Donnie and Chef Paul Wahlberg known for its unique menu items inspired by the Wahlberg family kitchen, is set to open in Summer 2023. Wahlburgers at Foxwoods will serve as the brand’s standalone Connecticut location offering an exclusive experience for Foxwoods guests in a fun, casual, music-filled environment. Unique to the Foxwoods’ location, Wahlburgers will offer a signature menu item in collaboration with Chef Paul and the Foxwoods culinary team, representative of the resort casino’s location and rich history. “The addition of Wahlburgers signifies yet another exceptional property moment as we continue our mission to elevate the Foxwoods experience,” said Jason Guyot, President, and CEO of Foxwoods Resort Casino. “Like Foxwoods, Wahlburgers is a family-owned business that has ties to the local community and offers a premium guest experience. We look forward to a very successful partnership.” A mecca for fans of the Wahlberg brothers and the Wahlburgers TV series, guests will be invited to share great food and drinks while celebrating the family history through memorabilia that follows Paul, Mark and Donnie’s journey from their roots as neighborhood kids in Dorchester, Massachusetts, to becoming a rising chef and internationally recognized celebrities. Crafted by Chef Paul and served with heartfelt hospitality, the menu features a variety of fresh burgers and sandwiches, innovative entrée salads, tasty appetizers or “Wahlbites,” as well as vegetarian options. In recent months Foxwoods has opened its new, exclusive Canopy Players’ Lounge, the largest buffet-style lounge it has ever opened at 7,000 square-feet, and begun construction on Sushi By Bou, an intimate omakase-style sushi dining experience, as well as a private "sushi suite." Foxwoods guests can also look forward to an awe-inspiring redesign of Golden Dragon restaurant, as well as a rebrand and relocation of Dunkin’. Wahlburgers will take over the current Fuddruckers’ location closing in September, with construction slated to begin in October. |
