Votes for Northeast gambling expansion "will not necessarily attract more gamblers," Moody's finds8 November 2012According to The Day, a Moody's Investors Service report that came out Wednesday states that election-day voting results in Rhode Island and Maryland authorizing more gambling in the Northeast will result in "further saturating" of the market. The Day states that measures approved by Rhode Island and Maryland voters, will, according to Moody's, have a negative impact on Connecticut casinos and also on Massachusetts, "where casinos are still years away from opening." |
