Voters support Brockton casino in narrow margin

BROCKTON, Massachusetts -- Voters narrowly endorsed a proposal that would see a casino resort on the Brockton Fairgrounds, Boston.com is reporting.

14,000 people voted in the referendum and only 143 votes separated the two positions, the report said.

The Brockton proposal is one of three that are competing for a Massachusetts casino licence, Boston.com reported.
