Vietnam ponders casino licence12 March 2012VIETNAM -- Vietnam's government is studying the feasibility of a mega-casino resort in a Northern region of the country, Vietnam News reported. The casino is being contemplated for the Quang Ninh Province at a cost of US$4-5 billion, the report said. The casino would target foreign tourists, but the government is also trying to close the gap that sees Vietnamese traveling to other countries to gamble by facilitating such entertainment at home and taxing it, Vietnam News reported. |
