Viejas Casino wins website award21 January 2008AN DIEGO, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Viejas Casino is the proud recipient of the Standard of Excellence WebAward in the leisure category for the Viejas Casino web site. The prestigious award, presented by the Web Marketing Association, honors outstanding achievement in web site development. Viejas Casino was chosen for this year's WebAward to honor the creativity and effectiveness of its casino web site, Viejas.com, overall one of the best web sites on the internet today and one which all web sites should emulate. The judging process for this award is very thorough and is based upon a list of seven criteria: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use. There are four levels of web awards – Best Web Site of Show, Best Web Site of Industry, Outstanding Web Site and Standard of Excellence - each being different from one another and each needing a certain specialty to get recognized by the Web Marketing Association. The Web Marketing Association was founded in 1997 to raise the standard of web marketing, and has turned into the premiere international annual web site award competition. |
