Video Review: Vegas 3 Poker from AGS

28 May 2021

We welcome Ofir from AGS who tells us all about their Vegas 3 Poker table game. The Vegas 3 Poker game features heads-up play against the dealer and the optional “V-3 Bonus wager” and” V-4 Bonus wager”.

Make a mandatory ante wager. You may also make the optional V-3 wager or V-4 wager. You will then receive a packet of three cards. When you get your three-hole cards, you can either check or bet 2x your ante. The dealer then reveals the community card. If you haven’t already made a play bet, you have a choice: bet 1x your ante or fold.

RULES OF PLAY:
  • To begin the game, players must make a bet on the Ante. They may also make the optional “V-3 and/or V-4 bonus” wagers.
  • The Dealer will dispense packets of three cards to all Players and the Dealer.
  • The dealer will place one community card face down to the left of the Dealer.
  • Players now have a choice: Wager 2x Ante or check; Once players bet, they cannot wager again.
  • The dealer then reveals the community card and players now have a choice: Wager 1x Ante or fold; Once players bet, they cannot wager again.
  • The dealer then reveals their three cards and announces the best three-card hand out of the four cards.
  • The dealer qualifies with an Ace-Queen or better.
  • If dealer does not qualify all Ante wagers are returned to the Players.
  • Working from right to left, the dealer pays all winning bets and collects all losing wagers.
  • If the player’s hand beats the dealers, the Play and Ante bets win even money.
  • If the player’s hand loses to the dealer, the Play and Ante bets lose.
  • When the hands tie, the Play and Ante bets push.
  • The “V-3 bonus” bet wins if the player’s original 3 hole cards contain a pair or better. See layout for odds.
  • The “V-4 bonus” bet wins if the player’s 4 cards are a pair of J’s or better.
