Veteran racing handicapper Bob Ike returns to Rampart Casino1 June 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- Professional handicapper Bob Ike has worked in the horse racing industry since he could place his first bet. Ike has been a leading public handicapper since 1985, where he also shares his expertise as a radio host and on his website. The Belmont Stakes are always exciting, but when there’s a Triple Crown contender, it’s a game changer. The same crowds that flock to the Derby prepare to watch the big race, which will take place 9 June 2018. To prepare, Rampart Casino Resort at Summerlin welcomes back veteran racing handicapper Bob Ike to host a free seminar, leaving racing enthusiasts and those new to the game with plenty of time to place their bets. Guests will find out what goes into handicapping and betting on horse races, from reviewing Justify’s Kentucky Derby and Preakness wins and going over a full rundown of each Belmont Stakes runner, to receiving betting strategy from Ike and Race & Sports Manager Duane Colucci, and gaining insight into the other big stakes races from Belmont Park. The casino’s new Clubhouse Deli will provide lite bites to attendees. Additionally, there will be food specials throughout the day in Clubhouse Deli, conveniently located next to the Race & Sports Book, and specialty drinks will be served at the Race & Sports Book bar and lounge.
