Vernon Downs' fate undecided16 July 2007VERNON, New York -- As reported by the Oneida Daily Dispatch: "Vernon Downs' owner Jeff Gural may need to wait until September before he knows whether or not the track will receive a larger cut of its video lottery terminal money, which he says he needs to remain in business. "Many expected the state Assembly to join the state Senate in a special session on Monday to pass unfinished legislation, including a bill that would give tracks like Vernon Downs more revenue from VLTs.
