VendingData's Deck Checker Approved

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- VendingData Corporation (Amex: VNX), a manufacturer and distributor of products and services for the gaming industry designed to increase security, productivity and profitability of casino operations, today announced that its Deck Checker(TM) has received the New Jersey Casino Control Commission gaming equipment approval for the pre-shuffling and pre-inspection of cards.

With this final approval, VendingData(TM) can immediately begin marketing the Deck Checker(TM) to casinos for front of house operations in Atlantic City. The Deck Checker(TM) is currently being used for back of house operations at a number of casinos in Atlantic City, including the Borgata, Bally's, Caesars Atlantic City and the Atlantic City Hilton.

"With this latest approval from the New Jersey Casino Control Commission, our goal is to place Deck Checkers on the casino gambling floor (front of house) as provided in the state's newly amended regulations," commented Steven J. Blad, VendingData's CEO. "Currently, 110 Deck Checkers(TM) have been placed in the United States and approximately 169 in the international market over that past 18 months."

The Deck Checker(TM) is a card security device that has an integrated management system. The Deck Checker(TM) scans playing cards and specifically checks to ensure an accurate count and verify that all of the cards are present. This innovative product confirms the integrity of each card and will reject any non-conforming card. It can be specifically programmed to read up to six different face designs. The Deck Checker(TM) scans for additional, missing or damaged cards and can run a check by suit and value. No additional staff is required. The Deck Checker(TM) saves staff time since it speeds up the start and the end of day procedures.
