Vega hosts Bob the Butcher

LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Vega Promotional Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets: VGPM.PK) today announced it is hosting Bob the Butcher and his professional poker playing friends at the World Series of Poker Europe this week in London.

Bob Clarke, also know as Bob the Butcher is a well known U.K. professional poker personality. His presence is often requested at international events, charities, fund raisers, and on television. Vega secured the Right of Personality from Clarke and has been working with various entities around the world to expand the Bob the Butcher brand.

The inaugural WSOP Europe begins September 6 with a three-day, 2,500 pounds sterling HORSE event starting on September 6, at The Casino at The Empire in Leicester Square.

The Empire will also be the host casino for a two-day, 5,000 pounds sterling Pot-Limit Omaha tournament starting September 8.

On September 10, the WSOP Europe Main Event, a six-day, 10,000 pounds sterling No-Limit Texas Hold'Em Championship will begin at The Empire, The Sportsman and Fifty. The playing field will be consolidated beginning September 13 at The Empire.

Top players from all over the world will be joining Bob the Butcher at the inaugural WSOPE. Players include Johnny Chan, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, Eric Seidel, Eli Elezra, Gus Hanson, Jennifer Harman, Allen Cunningham, Howard Lederer and Jamie Gold.

Utilizing software licensed from Vega, Butcher Poker, Ltd launched it's free rewards-based online poker site for US players. Butcher has created a completely free-to-play online poker room. The site features Fixed Limit, No Limit and Pot Limit Texas Hold'Em, with each player receiving $1,000 in play- money to start, which can be freely replenished at any time. Advertisers can place their messages on many areas of the site, such as on a player's hat, the felt, or brand items on the board such as soft drinks, and in play signs.
