Valley Forge Casino Resort's first Wine Dinner to feature Eagles greats21 June 2012KING OF PRUSSIA, Pennsylvania -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Valley Forge Casino Resort will host its first Wine Dinner at Pacific Prime from 6 p.m.to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 27. The dinner will feature wines from former Eagles coach Dick Vermeil’s winery. Vermeil and former Eagles celebrities Ron Jaworski, Joe Pisarcik and Mike Quick are among the several former Eagles who will attend. “With so many Eagles greats in attendance, our first Wine Dinner will be an incredible night for all of our guests,” said Vice President of Food and Beverage Martin Doyle. “We are setting the bar high right out of the gate by coupling fine food and wine selections with Philly’s favorite featured guests.” The event will feature a four-course meal paired with wines from Dick Vermeil’s winery. The courses include: · Vermeil “1980 Luvisi” Zinfandel (2009) paired with Local Heirloom tomato salad; · Vermeil Sauvignon Blanc (2010) paired with Copper River salmon; · Vermeil Cabernet Sauvignon (2007) paired with Prime New York Strip steak; and · Vermeil Sweet Sémillon (2009) paired with Lemon Trio. The cost is $150 per person and reservations are required. Each guest will receive a bottle of 2009 Proprietary Red signed by Dick Vermeil. |
