Valley Forge Casino Resort to host Philadelphia Sportscard and Memorabilia Show

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pennsylvania -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Valley Forge Casino Resort will host the Philadelphia Sportscard and Memorabilia Show June 22-24 in the resort’s convention center. Several all-star athletes, including Baseball Hall of Fame’s Jim Palmer, will be in attendance to sign autographs.

“We’re thrilled to host so many legendary athletes under one roof at Valley Forge Casino Resort,” said Valley Forge Casino Resort Vice President of Marketing Shonette Carew. “With athlete autograph signings, sports cards and vintage sports memorabilia, our guests will experience an action-packed weekend that is sure to impress.”

The show will run from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 22; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 23; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 24. It will feature approximately 115 tables of sports collectibles, including vintage baseball, football, basketball and hockey sports cards; vintage sports memorabilia and equipment; vintage and contemporary autographed sports items; and game worn items.

The major sports auction houses will be in attendance to appraise, buy and consign items. The major authentication companies, including SGC, JSA, PSA/DNA and Beckett, also will be in attendance to examine and provide letters of authenticity for cards and autographs.
