Valley Forge Casino Resort announces two leadership changes

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Valley Forge Casino Resort today announced the appointment of two key leadership positions at the full-amenity gaming and entertainment resort.

Director of Food and Beverage, Jeffrey George, brings with him extensive experience in the industry, having a longstanding career serving as a consultant in the areas of operations, strategy, finance and analytics within the hospitality market, as well as experience within startups and as a small business owner. Prior to joining Valley Forge Casino Resort, George was owner of Too Cool Café, an upscale boutique restaurant located in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida. He also served as Director of Food & Beverage, and later VP of Food & Beverage at Mohegan Sun Pocono Resort & Casino in Wilkes-Barre, PA, we well as various leadership roles at Sam’s Town Hotel Casino in Shreveport, Louisiana.

“I am honored to join the team at Valley Forge Casino Resort,” stated Jeffrey George. “After years of wearing many different hats, from small business owner to director and vice president positions at various large-scale casino and resort properties, I’ve learned the ins and outs of the food and beverage industry. I’m excited to combine my experience and apply it to the food and beverage programming at Valley Forge Casino Resort.”

Director of Hotel Operations, Remi Oduyebo, has established himself amongst the top professions in the hospitality industry. He served as Senior Operations Manager at Hotel ZAZA in Houston, Texas, and under his leadership, the hotel achieved AAA 4 Diamond Hotel Status. Additional noteworthy experience for Oduyebo include Director of Front Office at the St. Regis in Houston, Texas and Assistant Director of Rooms at the InterContinental Houston-Medical Center. The InterContinental Houston-Medical Center was awarded Medallia and TripAdvisor Champions during Oduyebo’s tenure, as well.

My goal is to ensure that hotel operations function at the highest level possible, and I’m confident that I can lead the team to continued success,” remarked Remi Oduyebo.

Valley Forge Casino Resort, a Boyd property, continues to signify growth. Oduyebo and George are the two newest hires to join the diverse leadership team at the property, coming after three additional new C-suite hires within 2021 and 2022.
