US fires back at Antigua over WTO dispute

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The US have fired back in the ongoing WTO dispute with Antigua, the St Kitts and Nevis Observer reported.

Antigua & Barbuda announced it wants to collect on a 2007 WTO judgement awarded in the ongoing trade dispute over GATS and online gambling, the report explained.

The US maintains that gambling and betting were included by error in GATS, while Antigua has reintroduced the dispute to the WTO slate for a January meeting, according to the St Kitts and Nevis Observer said.
