Ultimate Pro Football Challenge returns to Westgate

22 February 2019

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Ultimate Pro Football Challenge is returning to the world-famous Race & Sports SuperBook, at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Known as the “world’s most popular professional football handicapping contest,” the 31st annual SuperContest will once again set a record, by awarding its largest prize to its grand prize winner at the conclusion of the 2019 football season.

Fresh off awarding $1,422,214 to the 2018 winner, the largest award in the contest’s long history, the SuperContest is the ultimate pro football handicapping contest in the world, and a longstanding favorite of the most prominent Las Vegas sports book, the world over. The SuperContest has awarded more than $28 million and is expected to have another record-breaking year this year. Entries will be accepted beginning on Friday, 1 March 2019.

Broadcasting veteran Brent Musburger of VSiN will be on hand at 10:00 am PST to place this year’s first entry.

The contest has a $1,500 entry fee prior to the start of the regular professional football season and contestants pick five games each week against the contest line. The contestant who correctly earns the most points for the entire pro football schedule will be declared the champion. Non-Nevada residents may take part by using a proxy to enter their selections each week. Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino is not affiliated with any proxy service.

In addition to the SuperContest the SuperBook will once again offer the SuperContest Gold, which debuted in 2017. This all new $5,000 contest is separate from the SuperContest and the winner will walk away with 100% of the entry fees. This winner-take-all contest will have contestants selecting five pro football games, similar to the SuperContest, each week versus the Westgate contest line. The 2018 winner took home a prize of $640,000.
