UNITED KINGDOM – As reported by Bedford Today: "Hatters have taken a gamble on an off-the-field venture by bidding to launch a club casino.

"An application has been lodged with Luton Borough Council – the Town's current landlords at Kenilworth Road – to change the use of the Eric Morecambe suite.

"The suite in question is a room named after Luton's late celebrity fan and is an area used as a sponsors' lounge on matchdays and for event functions during the week.
