UK Private Lottery Proposed

UK – As reported by the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: "Ribble Valley MP Nigel Evans hopes a private lottery will ensure worthy causes like the Bowland Mountain Rescue Team do not lose out on cash grants.

"Following the launch of the new lottery, which Mr Evans says will be a wake-up call to the Government, he also called for changes to the rules of the National Lottery, giving more power to the punters to decide where their money should go."
