UK official defends super casino pick

UNITED KINGDOM – As reported by the Manchester News: "Sports minister Richard Caborn has defended the decision to grant a supercasino licence to Manchester.

"Speaking to a parliamentary scrutiny committee, he rejected calls for parliament to undertake a special deliberation regarding the location of Britain's first Las Vegas-style gambling palace on March 29th, reports Reuters.

"…'While many people have homed in on the one casino, this is about 17 casinos,' said Mr Caborn…"
