UK not expected to fix machine stakes23 August 2013LONDON, England-- The British Culture Secretary is not expected to clamp down on the amount gamblers can bet at Fixed-Odds Betting Terminals, the BBC reported. Gamblers can currently bet up to £100 every 20 seconds on such machines in betting shops, the report said. The results of a review of gambling machines, following public consultation is expected to be released shortly by the government, according to the BBC report. |
