UK: Jockeys face bans in horse racing corruption probe16 December 2011ENGLAND -- Four British jockeys have been found guilty of corruption, after an investigation by the British Horseracing Authority, the BBC reported. Paul Doe, Greg Fairley have received 12 year bans as punishment, the report said. Two other jockeys, along with 11 others including some owners also received bans following the investigation, the BBC reported. All have 7 days to appeal their cases, the report noted. |
