UK Horse racing levy will be replaced by license system7 March 2016LONDON, England -- Changes are coming to the much debated horse racing levy, according to the Financial Times. A new system will be introduced that comprises a license-based system, the report said. The previous levy was seen to be too much of a burden on betting shops, and offshore online gaming companies patronized by British gamblers paid nothing towards the levy which supports racing, the Financial Times report said.
