UK casino plans squashed9 November 2007UNITED KINGDOM -- As reported by the UK Evening Post: "All bets are off for a company hoping to open a new concept casino in Caversham Road after planners squashed its ambitious plan. "Stevco Ltd had asked Reading Borough Council for permission to turn two retail units next to Drews the Ironmongers into a grand casino with bar, restaurant and live entertainment stage.
