U.S. Digital Gaming names new CEO22 June 2011LOS ANGELES, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Today, U.S. Digital Gaming, Inc. ("USDG") announced the hiring of former FOX and Walt Disney Senior Executive Jon Richmond as its Chief Executive Officer. Richmond will guide the company's activities to deploy the most comprehensive, legally compliant, Internet gambling platform in the US, at a time when numerous states are clearly moving toward the legalization of online gambling. Richmond's unique experience will allow him to integrate the key elements of the online gambling space, including technology, interactive entertainment, e-commerce, and online marketing. A highly accomplished leader in the area of digital and interactive media, under his leadership, News Corporation became a major force in the digital arena, leveraging the massive reach of its franchises over multiple platforms, while creating compelling, original digital content. As President of News Digital Media, Richmond also oversaw the development and operation of FOX.com, FOXSports.com, and FOXNews.com. Mr. Richmond recently served as a Managing Director at investment firm Houlihan Lokey where he led the firm's Media, Sports, Gaming and Entertainment Industry Group.
