Two suspensions at NYRA board follow report2 May 2012NEW YORK -- Two New York Racing Association board members were suspended on Monday, according to the Daily Racing Form. The suspensions follow the issuing of a report over the recent controversy involving the NYRA applying the wrong takeout amount to wagers during 2010 and 2011, the report explained. Charles Hayward president of the NYRA and Patrick Kehoe, NYRA legal counsel, were both suspended, the Daily Racing Form report said.
