Two Sets of Winning Wisconsin Lottery Numbers

WISCONSIN – As reported by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: "Because an incorrect number was posted on the Wisconsin Lottery's Web site for Monday's Badger 5 drawing, two sets of numbers qualify as winners in the game, lottery officials said Tuesday.

"The official winning numbers in the drawing were 3, 5, 15, 19 and 29, lottery spokesman Andrew Bohage said.

"But when the numbers were faxed from Milwaukee - where the drawing is conducted - to Madison - where they are entered into the lottery's computer system and Web site - a staff worker erroneously wrote 25 as the last number instead of 29, Bohage said.

"…Neither set of winning numbers produced a jackpot winner, but more than 18,000 tickets sold had between one and four matching numbers from each set, split about evenly, Bohage said…"
